Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perrin Aybara (ranked 4940 p4p, 61 weight class) and Tetsuya Shiroo (ranked 4227 p4p, 138 weight class). Shiroo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Gazette / Filth In The Beauty kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 20 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Perrin Aybara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tetsuya Shiroo!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aybara lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Shiroo avoids the body shot from Aybara.
We've been informed that Shiroo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Shiroo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aybara paws at him with a jab and circles away.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Aybara wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Tetsuya Shiroo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
