Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ervin Rowe (ranked 8853 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Agotti (ranked 5707 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Agotti fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Rowe tries to counter with a takedown but Agotti is quick to defend against it.
Agotti throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rowe cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tony Agotti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rowe displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Agotti.
Rowe seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Agotti misses with a head kick.
Agotti fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Rowe moves into the clinch.

Rowe is looking to control Agotti's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rowe avoid being mounted?
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Agotti shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rowe but Rowe pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Agotti rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rowe moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Agotti dives in and grabs Rowe's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rowe pushes down on Agotti's head and hops out.
Agotti will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Agotti is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Rowe with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Rowe has had enough of the clinch but Agotti keeps him there for the moment.

Agotti tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Agotti jumps guard but Rowe turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Rowe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Agotti shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rowe pinned against the cage. Rowe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ervin Rowe is winning the standup battle so far.
Rowe defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Agotti.
As Agotti tries to get set, Rowe tries to push him back and clinch up but Agotti manages to avoid the attempt.
Rowe avoids the head kick by Agotti.

Agotti fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Rowe lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Rowe has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Agotti avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Agotti changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rowe fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Rowe closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Agotti changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rowe tries to avoid it but Agotti manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rowe to the ground. Rowe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Rowe lands an elbow inside that Agotti shrugs off.
Rowe wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Rowe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Agotti fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rowe avoids it really well and circles away.
Ervin Rowe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Agotti misses with a jab, cross combination.

Rowe darts in and clinches Agotti up against the cage.
Rowe gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Rowe manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Agotti slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Agotti throws a head kick but Rowe moves out of range.

Rowe moves into the clinch.
Rowe with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Agotti is working for takedown but Rowe is calmly controlling the position for now.
Agotti keeps control of Rowe as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Rowe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Rowe counters with a shoot takedown. Agotti fights it but they end up in guard.

Rowe got a little sloppy there for a moment and Agotti has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rowe has managed to get both his arms back between Agotti's legs - danger averted.

Agotti takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Agotti is looking to cinch up a triangle. Rowe throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Agotti's body to avoid the submission. Agotti has instead reached around Rowe's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Agotti arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
