The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baker gets caught napping as Madafacca dives in and scores a takedown. Baker manages to retain guard.

Baker has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Madafacca has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Madafacca lands an elbow just above Baker 's eye.

It looks like Simon Baker has been cut.
Baker is trying to force a seperation but Madafacca has the dominant position.
Madafacca gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Madafacca lands a damaging elbow.
With the fighters up against the cage, Madafacca throws an elbow but misses.

Baker gets control of Madafacca's arms and successfully pulls guard. Baker will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
