These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Kowalski!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twenty misses with a looping right.
Kowalski scores with a spinning back kick!
Twenty throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Twenty misses with a body kick.
Kowalski feints the counter takedown.
Twenty scores with a decent looking hook.
A big right from Kowalski misses.
Kowalski throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Twenty throws a leg kick but Kowalski sees it coming and moves out of range.
Kowalski blocks a head kick by Twenty .
Kowalski thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Twenty if he has to take too many more of those.
Twenty throws a jab but it's blocked by Kowalski.
And Kowalski tries to counter it with a takedown but Twenty pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Twenty lands a jab.


It looks like Jan Kowalski has been cut.
Jan Kowalski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kowalski darts in and clinches Twenty up against the cage.
Twenty working hard to break the clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Twenty throws an elbow but misses.

Kowalski has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Twenty uses from the top position.
Kowalski has Twenty pulled in close to control his posture.
Twenty has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Twenty throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Kowalski rushes Twenty and presses him up against the cage.
Twenty swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kowalski keeps control of Twenty as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Kowalski.

Kowalski breaks from the clinch.
A big right from Twenty misses.

Kowalski gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Twenty tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kowalski smiles and moves away.
Twenty connects with a crisp jab.

Twenty is trying to pull guard but Kowalski has him pressed against the cage.
Kowalski stops a takedown attempt from Twenty .
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Android Twenty . That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kowalski successfully pulls guard.
Kowalski seems keen to control Twenty 's posture.
Twenty wants to control from the top but Kowalski keeps moving.

Kowalski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Twenty can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Twenty will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Twenty won't allow Kowalski to sweep him here.

Twenty decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kowalski just misses with a punch to the body.
Nice uppercut lands for Twenty . That snapped Kowalski's head back.

Kowalski closes the distance and pushes Twenty back into the cage.
Kowalski drops down looking for an ankle pick but Twenty pulls his leg out and moves away.

Twenty cracks Kowalski with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kowalski looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Twenty finish him?


Kowalski is rocked!
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Kowalski has eaten all the pies!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Twenty cracks Kowalski on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Kowalski falls backwards against the cage. Twenty follows up with more strikes that drop Kowalski to his knees. Twenty keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Kowalski! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Android Twenty !
Android Twenty seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
