The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanders moves into the clinch.
Sanders misses with a punch on the inside.

Sobotka tries to stall but Sanders uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sanders.
Sanders has a couple of punches blocked by Sobotka.
Sobotka lands with a right to the head.

Sobotka jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sanders walks away with a smile on his face. Sobotka gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sobotka tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sanders paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sanders rushes Sobotka and presses him up against the cage.

Sanders swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Sobotka.
Sanders swings wildly with an uppercut but Sobotka uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sanders fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Sanders tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Sanders working aggressively here.

Sobotka manages to pull guard.
Sobotka has a closed guard, preventing Sanders from standing up.

Sanders gets to his feet - Sobotka follows without any prompting.
Sobotka is looking to clinch.
Sobotka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sanders manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Sobotka trying to control the position but instead, Sanders has worked for underhooks and has pushed Sobotka into the cage.

Sobotka pulls guard successfully.
Sanders wanted to stand there but Sobotka had control of the position.

Sobotka is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sanders is aware though and is defending well.
Sanders wants to stand but Sobotka has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Sanders wants to stand and escape but instead Sobotka has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sanders can do anything to dispel that myth.
Sanders is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Sanders is wriggling around but Sobotka manages to pass to half guard.

Sanders pushes Sobotka off looking to stand but Sobotka dives back in and keeps control.

Sanders is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Sobotka has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Sanders is tapping! This fight is all over!
