Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anikan Vader (ranked 5511 p4p, 0 weight class) and One DooK (ranked 5538 p4p, 0 weight class). Anikan Vader has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DooK misses with a kick to the body
and Vader counters with a one-two to the body.
Vader could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Vader throws a nice looking combination but DooK bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

DooK forces Vader back against the cage and clinches.
Vader lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Vader looking to slow down the pace here.
Vader wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but DooK has him pressed against the cage.

DooK turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Vader gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Vader is looking for a sweep. DooK is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

DooK decides to stand back up.

Vader tries to keep at a distance but DooK has taken the fight into the clinch.
Vader scores with a shot to the side of DooK's head.
DooK blocks an uppercut.
Vader misses with a short punch on the inside.

DooK lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Vader or not.
Vader is trying to stall.
Vader trying to control the position but instead, DooK has worked for underhooks and has pushed Vader into the cage.
DooK is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Vader can't break the clinch.
DooK is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Vader to keep the fight standing.

DooK blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Vader wants to break free but DooK has control.

DooK breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Anikan Vader is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

DooK has closed the distance and engaged Vader in a clinch.

Vader escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vader lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Vader tries to bum rush DooK with a series of wild strikes but DooK uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and DooK cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Anikan Vader has been cut.

DooK throws a head kick but Vader moves out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Vader. Those never looked like landing.
DooK shoots in for a takedown but Vader shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Vader stuffs the takedown attempt from DooK. DooK gets slowly back to his feet.
Anikan Vader has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of One DooK.
Vader wants to clinch.

DooK closes the distance and pushes Vader back into the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Anikan Vader will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

DooK avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vader misses with a jab, cross combination.
Vader takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
One DooK seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DooK shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vader as he avoids it easily.

DooK clinches.
Vader stalling in the clinch but DooK improves position.
DooK prevents Vader from breaking the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Vader.
DooK's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vader decides to pull guard.
Vader will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Vader is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Vader isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. DooK stacks Vader on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by DooK!
DooK tries to score with some ground and pound. Vader controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vader can't do much from the bottom here.

DooK looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
An elbow from DooK crashes against the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

DooK decides to stand back up.
Vader swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and DooK counters by moving into the clinch.

Still in the clinch, Vader scores with a nice short uppercut.
DooK wants a takedown.
DooK blocks a punch to the side of the head.
DooK keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Vader's efforts to push away.
DooK just leaning against Vader, taking a breather.

A nice right hand lands inside from DooK.
Vader is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

DooK has clasped his hands together around Vader's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

DooK fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vader avoids it really well and circles away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Vader tries to close the distance and clinch but DooK swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Vader cracks DooK with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

DooK clinches up with Vader and pushes him back against the cage.
Vader misses with a punch to the body.
Vader throws a blind hook that connects with the side of DooKs head.
Vader lands a right hand.
Vader throws a head punch that misses.
Vader lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of DooK backwards.
DooK avoiding damage as Vader throws knees to the body.
DooK fails to pull guard.
DooK drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Vader dodges an elbow strike from DooK.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Anikan Vader will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

DooK has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Vader has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Vader is really stuck here.

DooK is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Vader knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Vader for a finish.

DooK slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
