Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Higgs Boson (ranked 3894 p4p, 135 weight class) and Master Wong (ranked 2662 p4p, 91 weight class). Higgs Boson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Master Wong's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boson works over Wong's head and body with a nice combination.
Boson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Touch Of Death Combat Academy in the buildup to the fight.

Wong fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Boson sprawls well initially but Wong persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

It looks like Higgs Boson has been cut.
My spies in GnP inform me that Wong has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Wong is pressing down on Boson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Boson is holding on for now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Wong is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Boson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wong.
Wong lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Wong is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Wong is nestled in close to Boson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Jeez, Higgs Boson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Higgs Boson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Master Wong!
A victorious Master Wong thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
