The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Myung is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lara's half guard.
Myung is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Lara wants to control but Myung is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Myung connects with a nice short shot to Lara's temple.

Myung slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Myung has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Lara is trying to keep an underhook but Myung manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Lara has one foot on Myung's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Lara really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Let's hope that Myung has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Lara is looking to work some ground and pound but Myung has wrist control.

Lara wants to get up but he can't break Myung's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

A close round but Kim Bo Myung will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Myung fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lara, pushing him back against the cage.
Lara is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Myung is keeping busy.

Myung swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Lara is now in Myung's guard. A big mistake from Myung there, giving up the dominant position!
Oh Lara is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Myung pulls Lara in close to prevent any damage.

Myung is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lara defends well.

Myung had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lara defends it easily.

Myung stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Myung wants it to stay on the feet.

Myung rushes Lara and presses him up against the cage.

Myung breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Myung is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lara can't fight it off and eventually Myung manages to take the fight to the floor. Lara looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Lara scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Myung shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lara's guard.
Lara will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Well Myung has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
