Morro is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by My Way - Frank Sinatra. Andrew Brown has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben Morro!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Francis DeMontford and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morro drops Brown with a nice combination! Morro dives into Brown's guard, looking to finish!

It looks like Andrew Brown has been cut.
Morro is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

We've been hearing good reports from Brown's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Morro scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Morro steps into range and cracks Brown with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Brown flops backwards and Morro dives into his guard looking to finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brown will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Morro sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brown's guard.

Morro throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Brown trying to hold on to Morro's head to control him but Morro postures up.

Let's hope that Morro has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Morro looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morro thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Brown get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Brown stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Morro runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ben Morro!
Ben Morro took some time post fight to say the following; 'This has always been a dream of mine. Here I am to stay!'.
