PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bena Berr (ranked 1460 p4p, 191 weight class) and Roy Finnegan (ranked 1272 p4p, 164 weight class). Finnegan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Rogues - Gravel Walk kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Bena Berr has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bena Berr seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berr turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Berr uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Finnegan.

and Finnegan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Berr is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Finnegan.

and Berr finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
The fighters circling - Finnegan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Berr throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Finnegan on the side of the head.
Berr throws a leg kick which misses Finnegan's front leg but catches the back leg as Finnegan tries to avoid it.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Berr, as that shot connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Berr throws a hook to the side of Finnegan's head but Finnegan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Finnegan throws a looping overhand right but Berr ducks down to avoid it.
Finnegan cracks Berr with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Finnegan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Berr stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Finnegan takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Berr cracks Finnegan with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Finnegan tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Berr pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Finnegan is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
