The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burgess shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Everything kicks off Burgess and gets to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from Burgess. No joy for Everything on that attempt.
Burgess was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Burgess defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Everything.

Burgess closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Everything pushes Burgess off and gets back to his feet.
