Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grant Brophy (ranked 5412 p4p, 605 weight class) and Marky Mark (ranked 1188 p4p, 167 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Grant Brophy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marky Mark!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brophy misses with a hook.
Mark throws a counter combo.
Brophy throws a hook to the side of Mark's head but Mark sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mark scores with a punch to the head.
Mark throws a lazy uppercut
and Brophy counters with a right hand to the body.
Mark looks to land a left hand but Brophy moved out of range nicely.
Brophy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Brophy looks to throw the jab but Mark is out of range.
Brophy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mark moves away.
Brophy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Mark lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Mark connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Brophy gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Grant Brophy has been cut.
Brophy takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Brophy needs to keep his hands up - Mark had a free shot at his head there.

Mark is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mark looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
It looked like Brophy was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mark.

It looks like Marky Mark has been cut.
Mark looks to land a combination but Brophy avoids it well.
It looked like Brophy wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Mark misses with a body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mark. Brophy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mark comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mark throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Brophy on the side of the head.

Brophy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Brophy throws a hook to the side of Mark's head but Mark sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mark uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Brophy.
Mark takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Mark is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Brophy had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
The fighters circling - Mark throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mark tests Brophy's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Brophy is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Mark's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Brophy avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Mark ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Brophy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Brophy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Mark lands a glancing blow to the side of Brophy's head.
Brophy lands with a straight right. Mark didn't see that one coming.
Brophy takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Brophy looks to score with a jab to the body but Mark is just out of range.
Mark scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Grant Brophy's cut is getting worse.

Brophy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Mark ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Brophy walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Oh Brophy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mark pounces like a tiger and cracks Brophy with a vicious hook! Brophy is down but not out! Mark follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Marky Mark!
Marky Mark tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
