The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobolev throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
As Sobolev looks to move away, Murphy throws a big counter combo but Sobolev just gets out of the way.

Murphy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sobolev is aware though and is defending well.
Sobolev must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Murphy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sobolev is looking to escape.
Murphy lands a big shot there that rocks Sobolev but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Sobolev is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Murphy is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sobolev can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Murphy moves to back control.
Murphy lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Murphy.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Murphy looks up at the clock and then as Sobolev takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Murphy smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Jackie Murphy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
