Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ed Whitaker (ranked 5503 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Rowlands (ranked 6131 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ed Whitaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lee Rowlands!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rowlands shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Whitaker defends it nicely.
Lee Rowlands seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rowlands shoots and misses
and Whitaker counters with a nice uppercut.
Whitaker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rowlands.
Whitaker swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
