PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Eachann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Booth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Booth is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Face the pain. Andy Booth has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Raphael Eachann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andy Booth!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Booth.
Booth throws a half hearted mid kick.
Booth shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Eachann pinned against the cage. Eachann gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Eachann throws a nice looking combination but Booth bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Eachann will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Eachann moves into the clinch successfully.
Booth is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Eachann's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Eachann is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Booth can't fight it off and eventually Eachann manages to take the fight to the floor. Booth looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Eachann drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Eachann jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Booth is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Eachann decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
A head kick misses from Eachann.
Booth throws a series of punches but Eachann avoids them all with ease.

and Eachann counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Booth!

Eachann stands up from mount. Strange move.
Eachann is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Booth takes the fight into the clinch.
Eachann gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Booth.
Raphael Eachann has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Booth.

Booth escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Booth throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Eachann counters with a leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Eachann manages to break the clinch.
Booth throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Eachann.

Eachann closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Eachann has an Americana. Booth didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Eachann is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Eachann hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
