Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Jang (ranked 2568 p4p, 274 weight class) and Milton Friedman (ranked 1461 p4p, 157 weight class). Jang's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Turn It On. James Jang has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Milton Friedman!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Kavanagh and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jang closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Friedman has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jang clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Friedman throws strikes from the back but Jang rolls nicely and manages to end up in full guard. Nice work by Jang.

Friedman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jang keeps working.
Friedman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Friedman lands a nice short elbow.
Friedman winds up and cracks Jang with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Friedman is nestled in close to Jang, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Friedman connects with a nice short shot to Jang's temple.
Friedman takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Jang keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Friedman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jang with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Friedman has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Milton Friedman!
A very excited looking Milton Friedman rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, James Jang stepped up to the mic, saying 'Don't turn your back on me, sucka!'.
