Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmie Mcdonald!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robbie Moss!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Moss or perhaps it was just good defense by Mcdonald, which made it look bad.
Mcdonald dives in and grabs Moss's left leg, looking for a takedown. Moss pushes down on Mcdonald's head and hops out.
Moss tries to counter by closing the distance.

Moss rushes Mcdonald and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Moss tries to pull guard but Mcdonald forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Moss tries to land knees in the clinch but Mcdonald avoids the damage to the body.

Moss jumps guard but Mcdonald stands there with Moss around his waist. Moss gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mcdonald has Moss pressed against the cage, preventing Moss from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Mcdonald gets underhooks to prevent Moss's takedown attempt.
Moss is trying to break the clinch but Mcdonald is controlling him.

Mcdonald postures up in Moss's guard and throws a big left but Moss blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moss is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mcdonald is controlling him.
Mcdonald won't allow Moss to sweep him here.
Moss keeps trying to improve his position.

Mcdonald working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Moss's head.
Moss seems keen to control Mcdonald's posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moss is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Moss is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mcdonald defends well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Mcdonald looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

A close round but Robbie Moss will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Moss closes the distance and clinches.
Mcdonald trying to control the position but instead, Moss has worked for underhooks and has pushed Mcdonald into the cage.

Moss is looking for a takedown.
Mcdonald gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Moss.

Moss fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Moss rushes Mcdonald and presses him up against the cage.
Mcdonald's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Moss jumps guard but Mcdonald stands there with Moss around his waist. Moss gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mcdonald blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Mcdonald escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Moss shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mcdonald sprawls well. Mcdonald wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Moss gets slowly back to his feet.
Mcdonald went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

As Moss looks to move away, Mcdonald throws a big counter combo but Moss just gets out of the way.
Mcdonald avoids the head kick by Moss.
Moss shoots for a double leg takedown but Mcdonald sprawls well. He's pushed Moss's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
It looked like Mcdonald wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Moss is breathing heavily.
Mcdonald shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Moss as he avoids it easily.

Mcdonald scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Mcdonald tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Moss tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mcdonald smiles and moves away.

Moss fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mcdonald, pushing him back against the cage.

Robbie Moss seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Moss wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mcdonald has him pressed against the cage.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Moss is defended easily by Mcdonald.
Mcdonald shoots in looking for a takedown. Moss tries to sprawl out of it but Mcdonald keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Moss manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mcdonald dives in and scores a takedown into Moss's guard.

Moss has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Mcdonald is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Moss wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Moss is working for takedown but Mcdonald is calmly controlling the position for now.
Moss looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Mcdonald takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Robbie Moss comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Moss has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
