Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Francisco Lynch (ranked 7984 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Dexter (ranked 5493 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as John Dexter enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynch uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dexter .
Dexter throws a series of punches but Lynch moves out of range.
Lynch tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dexter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lynch somewhat.
Dexter throws out a counter right but Lynch avoids it with no problem.
Donk. Dexter catches Lynch right on the button with a cross.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dexter gets a double leg takedown into Lynch's guard.

Lynch has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dexter can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lynch manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dexter manages to get himself to full guard.

Lynch keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dexter 's head.

Lynch gets to his feet - Dexter follows without any prompting.
Dexter bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Lynch fails with a takedown attempt.
Dexter steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Lynch.
Lynch takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Lynch really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Dexter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lynch moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dexter misses with a two punch combination.
Lynch tries to counter by clinching up but Dexter breaks away and moves out of range.
Dexter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lynch circles away.
As Dexter tries to get set, Lynch tries to push him back and clinch up but Dexter manages to avoid the attempt.

Dexter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Lynch tries to buck Dexter off but Dexter is having none of it.

The strikes coming from Dexter are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Lynch parries the strikes from Dexter easily there. Dexter is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lynch to escape.
Dexter tries to score with some ground and pound. Lynch controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Dexter has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad Amsterdam. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Lynch sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Dexter looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Dexter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lynch has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dexter has managed to get both his arms back between Lynch's legs - danger averted.

Dexter has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Lynch to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Dexter is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Lynch pulls down on the head and he's put Dexter to sleep! This one is all over!
