Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anders Willemson (ranked 8299 p4p, 704 weight class) and Armend Berisha (ranked 8737 p4p, 721 weight class). Willemson comes into the arena with Hocus Pocus - Focus blaring out of the sound system. Anders Willemson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Anders Willemson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Armend Berisha!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berisha throws a right hand that Willemson ducks under and follows up with a left that Willemson also avoids with ease.
Berisha tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Willemson swivels and escapes.
Willemson throws a head kick that misses.
A countering left hand to the body from Berisha misses.
Berisha shoots in looking for a takedown but Willemson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Berisha's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Berisha moves out of range of the strikes.
Willemson misses with a hook.
Willemson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Makoa - Hilo Cheapest Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Berisha throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Willemson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Berisha is in Willemson's guard.
Berisha throwing strikes from guard but Willemson blocks nicely.
Berisha trying to control but Willemson is working from the bottom.
Berisha in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Berisha stops Willemson from standing up.
Willemson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Berisha on the ground.
Berisha is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Willemson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Berisha content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Berisha keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Willemson's head.
Berisha wants to control from the top but Willemson keeps moving.
Berisha is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Willemson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Willemson has escaped and now he's on top!
Berisha is looking to cinch up a triangle. Willemson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Berisha's body to avoid the submission. Berisha has instead reached around Willemson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Berisha arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Armend Berisha!
