Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bear Hug (ranked 3938 p4p, 315 weight class) and Caol Dos (ranked 3652 p4p, 303 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dos tries to keep at a distance but Hug has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dos misses with a hook from the clinch.
Hug lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Hug lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Dos backwards.
Dos throws a punch but it's blocked by Hug.
Hug blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Hug lands a shoulder strike.
Dos misses with the head strike.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hug.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We've been informed that Dos has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Dos is trying to break the clinch but Hug has him pressed against the cage.
Hug gets through Dos's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Hug stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Still in the clinch, Hug scores with a nice short uppercut.

Dos goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Dos is trying to force a seperation but Hug has the dominant position.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hug creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dos manages to break the clinch.
Dos takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Hug rushes Dos and presses him up against the cage.

Hug lands a right hand that snaps the head of Dos backwards.
Hug scores with a shot to the side of Dos's head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hug lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Dos to his knees! Hug keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

A relieved looking Bear Hug thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
