Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cati Sli (ranked 7375 p4p, 440 weight class) and Demichell Savilo (ranked 7370 p4p, 438 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sli looks for a takedown but Savilo sprawls well.
Sli throws a series of punches but Savilo avoids them all with ease.
Sli leaves Savilo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Savilo keeps the fight on the outside.
Savilo lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Savilo closes the distance and clinches up with Sli, looking for a takedown. Savilo pushes Sli against the cage but Sli circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Savilo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

It looked like Sli was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Sli has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Savilo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sli.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Savilo moves into the clinch.
Sli tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Savilo smiles and moves away.
Cati Sli is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sli looks for a takedown but Savilo sprawls well.
Savilo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Savilo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Savilo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Let's hope that Savilo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Sli really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cati Sli will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Sli has his foot on Savilo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Savilo works his way back into a safe position though.
Demichell Savilo has got the better of the ground game so far.
Savilo passes Sli's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Sli pushes Savilo off looking to stand but Savilo dives back in and keeps control.
Savilo thows a huge punch but Sli dodges it nicely.

Savilo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Sli!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Savilo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sli is looking to escape.

Sli wants to hold on but Savilo pushes him away.
Savilo looking to ground and pound but Sli is blocking nicely.
Savilo working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Savilo tries to control but Sli wriggling away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sli manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Savilo stands up out of the half guard.
Savilo shoots in for a takedown but Sli shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Sli shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Savilo pinned against the cage. Savilo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cati Sli.
I think Sli has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
