The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stefansson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Stefansson lands a nice leg kick that just misses McKenzie's sensitive parts.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Stefansson.
McKenzie is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

McKenzie dives in and grabs Stefansson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stefansson pushes down on McKenzie's head and hops out.
Stefansson fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but McKenzie is out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McKenzie takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stefansson cracks McKenzie with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Stefansson immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! McKenzie is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Stefansson!
