PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yukimura Gomi (ranked 3177 p4p, 361 weight class) and Richard Nixon (ranked 1781 p4p, 225 weight class). Gomi's entrance music is Peak Times by Switch. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Gomi tenderised Nixon's leg. Nixon is trying to keep his angry face on.
Gomi tries to clinch but Nixon moves away
and Nixon counters with a nice uppercut.
Gomi misses with a straight left.
Nixon throws a shot to the body.
Gomi walks into a stiff left hand from Nixon.
Gomi has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gomi there as he acknowledges the shot.
Nixon lands a nice shot that snaps Gomi's head back.
Nixon goes for a small jab and connects. Now Nixon goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Gomi stumbles back but Nixon runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Gomi to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Gomi will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

A very excited looking Richard Nixon rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
