These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Derange bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Blackwell bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Seb Derange seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Derange darts in looking for a takedown but Blackwell gets double underhooks and turns Derange into the cage.
Blackwell looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Nice sprawl there from Blackwell as Derange shoots in.
Blackwell seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Derange looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Derange trying to control but Blackwell is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blackwell manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Derange manages to get himself to full guard.

Derange escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Blackwell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Derange is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Blackwell defends well.

Derange had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Blackwell defends it easily.

Derange is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Blackwell working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Derange's head.

Derange has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Blackwell doesn't defend quickly enough and Derange has managed to lock this one up! Can Blackwell escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Derange on a fantastic submission victory.
