Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pako Laine (ranked 35 p4p, 4 weight class) and Lee Sang Seok (ranked 32 p4p, 3 weight class). Laine comes to the cage accompanied by Nikke Ankara - Värifilmi. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pako Laine!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lee Sang Seok!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laine avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Laine tries to close the distance and clinch but Seok swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Seok has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Laine is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Laine misses with an attempted mid kick.
Seok ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Laine moves away.
Laine connects with a right hand. Seok shakes it off.
Seok connects with a good right hand that stumbles Laine. Laine circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Laine lands a nice leg kick that just misses Seok's sensitive parts.
Seok throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

We've been hearing reports that Laine has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Laine bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
As Seok tries to get set, Laine tries to push him back and clinch up but Seok manages to avoid the attempt.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close second round but I would say that Pako Laine will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Lee Sang Seok.
