Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Phoenix shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Lee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Phoenix is working away from the top position though.
Lee tries to get to full guard but Phoenix has control of the leg.

Phoenix might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lee kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lee misses with the combination.

Phoenix closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Phoenix shoots for a takedown but Lee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jay Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Phoenix clinches up with Lee and pushes him back against the ropes.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Phoenix takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
