Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tauno Potku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tauno Potku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Danny Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Potku moves into range and clinches up with Coleman.
Potku is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Potku is working for takedown but Coleman is calmly controlling the position for now.

Coleman pulls Potku into guard.

Coleman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Coleman has hold of Potku's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Potku manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Potku on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Potku tries to get out of the position.

Coleman jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Potku is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Potku and Coleman has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That was a close round but I would say that Tauno Potku will probably get the nod.

Potku rushes Coleman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Coleman jumps guard but Potku stands there with Coleman around his waist. Coleman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Coleman drops down looking for an ankle pick but Potku pulls his leg out and moves away.
Potku stuffs the takedown attempt from Coleman. Coleman gets slowly back to his feet.

Potku decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Coleman tries to roll over but Potku keeps him under control.

Coleman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Coleman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Potku shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Coleman's guard.

Potku throws and elbow that misses. Coleman uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Potku's guard. Nice move by Coleman!

Potku closes the distance and clinches.

You can see the frustration on Potku's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Potku, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
