The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. McAuliffe darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Brooks doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Nice cross by McAuliffe.
Brooks takes a swing at McAuliffe's ribcage but misses.
Brooks with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McAuliffe to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Herb Brooks has been cut.
Brooks waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract McAuliffe.
McAuliffe darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Brooks is rocked!
McAuliffe lands a big right hook! Brooks looks hurt but is still standing! McAuliffe lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Brooks falls down and McAuliffe dives in with a huge hammer fist! Brooks's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and McAuliffe runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
