Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Butabi (ranked 730 p4p, 36 weight class) and Vincent Lemieux (ranked 1369 p4p, 60 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Butabi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I'm so bad (baby I don't care). Vincent Lemieux has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Steve Butabi's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Lemieux!

It looks like Steve Butabi has been cut.
We've been told by Butabi's head coaches at LOD Gym of the Gods that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lemieux rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Butabi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Butabi takes one to the chin there.
Butabi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lemieux at a distance.
Lemieux has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Butabi is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Butabi closes the distance and clinches.

Butabi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Butabi cracks Lemieux with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Lemieux looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Butabi finish him?

Lemieux gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Butabi gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Lemieux is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
