Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jason Tolevski (ranked 5334 p4p, 225 weight class) and Jimmy Carruthers (ranked 7478 p4p, 287 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tolevski closes this distance looking for a takedown but Carruthers circles away.
Carruthers connects with a body shot that sends Tolevski's belly button to the back.
A jab-cross combination lands for Carruthers and sends Tolevski crashing to the mat! Carruthers follows him down to the mat - Tolevski regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
It looks like Jason Tolevski has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Tolevski looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Tolevski is looking to stand up but Carruthers isn't so interested in that idea.

Carruthers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tolevski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Carruthers has managed to get both his arms back between Tolevski's legs - danger averted.

Tolevski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Carruthers manages to get himself to full guard.
Tolevski slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Tolevski seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Carruthers for as long as he can get away with.
Tolevski wants to pass the guard but Carruthers is keeping the position.

Carruthers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tolevski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tolevski decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
A chopping leg kick lands by Carruthers.
Carruthers lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Tolevski at a distance.
Tolevski moves into the clinch.
Tolevski breaks the clinch.
Tolevski fails to land the takedown.

Carruthers keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Tolevski feints and as Carruthers raises his hands in defense, Tolevski changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Tolevski stands and steps away. Carruthers gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Carruthers lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Tolevski is looking to clinch but Carruthers is avoiding it.
A countering left hand to the body from Carruthers misses.

and Carruthers counters with a one-two to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Carruthers jabs at Tolevski's body.
Oh Tolevski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Carruthers plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Tolevski swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Tolevski face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
