PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Allan Coyoca (ranked 2145 p4p, 265 weight class) and Rashid Magomedov (ranked 4481 p4p, 468 weight class). Magomedov has chosen Chris Brown - See You Again Feat. Tyga & Wiz Khalifa as his entrance music. Rashid Magomedov told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rashid Magomedov!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov misses with an uppercut.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Magomedov lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Coyoca has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Coyoca and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Magomedov throws a right and a left that Coyoca avoids nicely.
Magomedov has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Coyoca is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Magomedov drops back looking for a leg! Coyoca is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Coyoca manages to kick Magomedov off! Magomedov jumps back into Coyoca's guard.

Coyoca has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Coyoca looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Magomedov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Coyoca is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Magomedov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Coyoca.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Coyoca has his foot on Magomedov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Magomedov works his way back into a safe position though.

Coyoca is looking to cinch up a triangle. Magomedov throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Coyoca's body to avoid the submission. Coyoca has instead reached around Magomedov's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Coyoca arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
