The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dideiro has his takedown stuffed

and Vincent counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Vincent.
Vincent tries to work over Dideiro's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Dideiro changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Vincent fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Dideiro fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vincent avoids it really well and circles away.
Vincent tries to counter by clinching up but Dideiro breaks away and moves out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Vincent manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Dideiro is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Vincent is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Vincent has escaped and now he's on top!

Dideiro shoots in looking for a takedown. Vincent tries to sprawl out of it but Dideiro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vincent manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Vincent tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dideiro swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dideiro throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vincent's waist but Vincent gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dideiro off to one side.
