Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Tanagul (ranked 25797 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Bundy (ranked 3037 p4p, 0 weight class). Greg Bundy told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bundy connects with a single shot there.
Bundy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tanagul manages to avoid it.
Greg Bundy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tanagul moves out of range as Bundy strikes.
Tanagul looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Bundy misses with a straight right.
Tanagul throws a head kick but Bundy moves out of range.
Bundy cracks a nice hook into Tanagul's ribs.
Tanagul misses the shot to the body.
Bundy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tanagul avoids the body shot from Bundy.
Bundy takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Tanagul uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bundy.
Tanagul tries to clinch but Bundy moves out of range.
Tanagul looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bundy bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tanagul's head backwards.
Tanagul throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Tanagul avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bundy catches Tanagul with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Bundy throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Tanagul walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Tanagul fails to land with a series of punches.
Bundy moves into the clinch.
Bundy lands with a left to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tanagul looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Bundy lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Bundy lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Bundy throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Tanaguls head.
Tanagul is breathing heavily.

Bundy moves into range and clinches up with Tanagul.
Bundy lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Bundy looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Bundy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bundy works Tanagul's body with a nice hook.
Bundy thuds his right hand into Tanagul's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tanagul takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Tanagul tries to move into range but Bundy moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A right-left combo lands from Bundy.
Bundy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Bundy sizes up Tanagul with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Bundy jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Tanagul is rocked!
Bundy lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Oh Tanagul is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bundy listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Tanagul gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Tanagul tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Bundy is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Tanagul buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Tanagul!! Tanagul is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Bundy throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Greg Bundy!
A relieved looking Greg Bundy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
