Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Lyons (ranked 2093 p4p, 82 weight class) and Ijsa Mohammed (ranked 1856 p4p, 70 weight class). Ijsa Mohammed will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mohammed throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lyons is in close to Mohammed's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Lyons keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mohammed's head.
Mohammed working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lyons doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lyons manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mohammed has his foot on Lyons's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lyons works his way back into a safe position though.

Lyons slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Lyons cracks Mohammed with a solid left hand.
Lyons passes Mohammed's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Mohammed actively working from the bottom here.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lyons connects with a nice short shot to Mohammed's temple.
Lyons is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mohammed is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lyons scores with a couple of nice shots.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ijsa Mohammed dominated that round.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Mohammed misses with a combination
and Lyons counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mohammed won't be happy with that.
Lyons is chipping away with strikes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mohammed is looking for a sweep.
Mohammed is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Lyons is looking to take a break and control but Mohammed is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Mohammed is trying to get back to his feet.

Mohammed is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lyons asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Mohammed seems to have recovered his senses.
The referee asks Lyons politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lyons prefers to stall for the moment though.
Hannibal Lyons overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Mohammed is not content to let Lyons control the position.
Mohammed tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Lyons lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Lyons is scoring with a succession of shots from the back. Mohammed is covering up - he's had enough and the ref steps in to end the fight!
