Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Able Nightroad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nightroad kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Vicarious. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nightroad checks a leg kick nicely.
Carter looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Carter fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Nightroad feints and as Carter raises his hands in defense, Nightroad changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Nightroad not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Nightroad wants to control from the top but Carter keeps moving.
Nightroad slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Carter dodges the ground and pound from Nightroad.

Nightroad has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Carter takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Nightroad moves into the clinch.

Nightroad has Carter pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Nightroad pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Carter tumbling to the mat - Nightroad dives into Carter's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nightroad connects with a couple of short punches.

Nightroad passes Carter's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Nightroad is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Carter is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Nightroad scores with a couple of nice shots.

Nightroad has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Carter's face.
