Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Phill Brooks (ranked 7728 p4p, 599 weight class) and Artur Osinen (ranked 8154 p4p, 607 weight class). Brooks's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, This Fire Burns. Phill Brooks had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Osinen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brooks sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Phill Brooks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Artur Osinen.

Osinen feints a jab promting Brooks to slip. Osinen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Brooks slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Osinen misses with a few strikes there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Osinen will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Brooks has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Osinen to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Brooks is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Osinen pulls down on the head and he's put Brooks to sleep! This one is all over!
