The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bennington throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. DeNunez tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bennington is in DeNunez's guard.
Bennington might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bennington drops back looking for a leg! DeNunez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and DeNunez manages to kick Bennington off! Bennington jumps back into DeNunez's guard.
Bennington has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bennington stands up over DeNunez, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
DeNunez controls Bennington momentarily but Bennington frees himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bennington drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Bennington as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! DeNunez screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Bennington ! Nice submission victory there!
