Gooding fails with an attempt to clinch.

Abbott throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Gooding lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Gooding tries a body shot but Abbott blocks it.
Gooding swings away with an uppercut that misses.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Abbott creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Abbott lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Gooding is rocked!
Abbott is pushing Gooding up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Abbott throws a big uppercut that drops Gooding! More strikes from Abbott and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Gooding lies dazed against the cage as Abbott celebrates with his cornermen!

Dave Abbott spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
