The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronaldo tries a head kick but it misses.
Ronaldo leaves Smith with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Smith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ronaldo tries to avoid it but Smith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ronaldo to the ground. Ronaldo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Smith throws a head kick but Ronaldo moves out of range.
