The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paaluttaja tries to clinch but Townser moves out of range.
Paaluttaja cracks a nice hook into Townser's ribs.
Townser misses with a low kick.
Townser circles away from the clinch attempt.
Townser misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Paaluttaja.
A looping hook to the body misses from Townser. Paaluttaja does a little dance to reset his feet.
Townser waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Paaluttaja.
Paaluttaja looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Nice uppercut lands for Townser. That snapped Paaluttaja's head back.

It looks like Pauli Paaluttaja has been cut.
Paaluttaja feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Townsers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Alex Townser has been cut.
Alex Townser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Townser throws a left and a right that both miss
and Paaluttaja counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Paaluttaja has closed the distance and engaged Townser in a clinch.

Paaluttaja breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Paaluttaja thuds a left hand into Townser's body.
Townser is breathing heavily.
Paaluttaja moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Paaluttaja rushes Townser and presses him up against the cage.
Paaluttaja lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Townser or not.
Paaluttaja lands with a left to the head.
The referee is keeping an eye on Paaluttaja - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Paaluttaja breaks from the clinch.
Townser is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Paaluttaja doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Townser crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Townser's bad books for that mishap!
