The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close round but I would say that Peter Batts will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Batts shoots in for a double leg but Soshnyanin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Soshnyanin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Batts moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Soshnyanin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Batts has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Soshnyanin counters with a huge left! Batts is in big trouble! He's backing up but Soshnyanin isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Batts from any more damage. A dominating finish by Soshnyanin!
