Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tero Susi (ranked 606 p4p, 90 weight class) and Kostas Karelis (ranked 1209 p4p, 169 weight class). Karelis has chosen Sail - AwolNation as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from Karelis misses.
Susi misses with a shot to the body
letting Karelis counter with a right hand.
Karelis has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Karelis there as he acknowledges the shot.
Karelis misses with a straight right.
Susi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Karelis.
The fighters circling - Susi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
An inside leg kick lands from Susi.
Susi throws an off balance right hand
letting Karelis counter with a right hand.
Susi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kareliss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Karelis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Susi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Karelis.
Susi thuds a left hand into Karelis's body.
Susi lands with a straight right. Karelis didn't see that one coming.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A cross from Susi lands.
Susi connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Karelis misses the shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Susi connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Karelis covering up! Susi comes in with a big uppercut and Karelis goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tero Susi!
