The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Murphy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blake isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Murphy stacks Blake on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Murphy!
Blake looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Blake working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Murphy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Murphy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Murphy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Blake got a little sloppy there for a moment and Murphy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Blake has managed to get both his arms back between Murphy's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Blake controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Murphy wants to control the position but Blake says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Murphy is rocked!
Blake lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Murphy quite badly. Murphy pulls Blake in close trying to recover. Blake postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Murphy on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Murphy doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
