The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calvert is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Calvert manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Warner on his heels. He'll look to pass Warner's guard now, I'm sure.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Calvert can do anything to dispel that myth.
Calvert is trying to control the position but Warner postures up.
Warner wants to stand but Calvert has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Warner decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Calvert, up you get!

Warner's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Calvert is holding on here and Warner must be using up a lot of energy. Calvert has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Warner gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
