Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tulio Souza (ranked 9296 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timmy Hue (ranked 6985 p4p, 644 weight class). Timmy Hue will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hue shoots for a takedown but Souza saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Souza drops down looking for a counter takedown but Hue sprawls and moves away.
Souza shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hue clinches with his opponent.
Hue lands a nice knee to the body.
Hue pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Souza defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hue.
Hue clinches up against the cage.
Souza is trying to push Hue away but Hue has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Souza prevents a takedown attempt there.
Tulio Souza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Timmy Hue.
Hue breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
