Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Kar (ranked 5955 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Remarque (ranked 5452 p4p, 0 weight class). Kurt Remarque will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kar takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Remarque lands a nice hook to Kar's body. Kar takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Kar doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A lazy left from Remarque finds it's target.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Remarque cracks Kar with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Kar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Remarque keeps working.
Remarque is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Kar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Remarque on the ground.
