Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Molokai Built (ranked 3599 p4p, 172 weight class) and Demarte Pena (ranked 1644 p4p, 85 weight class). Pena is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mesmo Assim. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Molokai Built!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Demarte Pena!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pena shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pena tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Built paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Pena with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Built to score with a decent uppercut.
Pena is looking to clinch but Built is avoiding it.
Pena shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Built defends it nicely.
Built ducks under a wild hook from Pena.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pena throws a wild body kick that Built sees coming a mile off.
As Pena backs away, Built returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Pena takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Built lands a glancing blow to the side of Pena's head.
Pena darts in trying to clinch
and Built counters with a one-two to the body.
Pena is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
OH! Pena has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Built smells blood and charges in for the finish! Built unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Pena sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Molokai Built!
Molokai Built was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
In defeat, Demarte Pena stepped up to the mic, saying 'This was not the end. It is just the Begin of you end. '.
