And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leyk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dick swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A nice side step and Dick releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Leyk misses with a double jab

and Dick decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Leyk's guard.
Leyk can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dick controls the pace.

Dick drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dick jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Dick slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Leyk wants to stand and escape but Dick is having none of it.

Dick is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Leyk is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leyk trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Dick takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Leyk bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dick's head backwards.
Leyk blocks a head kick by Dick.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Dick.
Dick slows the pace down.
Dick scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Leyk to see if he's OK.
Leyk is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Dick has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Dick working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Leyk looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Dick! Submission of the night perhaps?
