Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Mulholland (ranked 6202 p4p, 555 weight class) and Shiba Chiharu (ranked 6735 p4p, 570 weight class). Chiharu comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Godsmack - Immune kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chiharu bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mulholland's head backwards.
Chiharu throws out a loose jab but Mulholland uses good head movement to avoid it.
As Chiharu backs away, Mulholland returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Mulholland pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Chiharu back to the cage. Mulholland follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Chiharu has closed the distance and engaged Mulholland in a clinch.

Chiharu throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mulhollands head.
Mulholland drops down looking for an ankle pick but Chiharu pulls his leg out and moves away.
Shiba Chiharu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chiharu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mulholland swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Chiharu is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mulholland's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mulholland's back!

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Chiharu gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Chiharu apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Well Chiharu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
