The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Gallows. Those never looked like landing.
Gallows slips a jab from Fredo.
Gallows is looking for a counter combo.
A jab from Fredo misses.
Fredo just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromGallows.

Gallows gets a clinch.

Gallows manages to break the clinch.
Gallows moves out of range as Fredo strikes.
Fredo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gallows seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Gallows is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fredo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fredo misses with an uppercut. Gallows saw that one coming.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fredo is defended easily by Gallows.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gallows shoots in looking for a takedown. Fredo tries to sprawl out of it but Gallows keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fredo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fredo looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Fredo swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Fredo leaves Gallows with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Fredo drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Gallows defends it well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Gallows. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fredo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Gallows looks for a takedown but Fredo sprawls well.
Fredo avoids a kick to the body.

Gallows takes the fight into the clinch.
Gallows gets underhooks to prevent Fredo's takedown attempt.
Fredo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gallows walks away with a smile on his face. Fredo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Fredo throws a hook but Gallows blocks it.

Gallows fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fredo, pushing him back against the cage.
Gallows is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Fredo drags the fight down to the ground.
Gallows has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fredo is proving hard to escape from.
Gallows knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fredo on the ground.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fredo has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Gallows doesn't defend quickly enough and Fredo has managed to lock this one up! Can Gallows escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Fredo on a fantastic submission victory.
